We the family of the late Mickie Morris would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad and sudden bereavement.
To the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service who attended to Mickie that day, to Fr Hannigan for all his words of comfort and the lovely funeral mass, to the musicians for their beautiful music.
To all those who stood respectfully along the route for Mickie’s final journey home and then for his funeral.
To Kate McAleer (McAleer Bros undertakers) for arranging the funeral with such care and attention in such difficult times, we will be eternally grateful for your professionalism.
Mickie’s months mind mass will be celebrated in Church of Assumption, Tullyallen on Sunday 31st January @ 11am via their webcam

MORRIS (Killeeshil /Manchester) Mickie (Michael) January 2, 2021, suddenly and unexpectantly at home. Loving father of Veronica, Paul and Ann (Scott) and cherished grandfather to Sean, Emma and Mikey, much loved brother of Mary (O’Neill), John (Manchester), Fardy and the late Pat. R.I.P.  Dearly loved brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle.

Formerly of Altaglushan, Mickie’s remains will repose at home, 69 Killeeshil Road, BT70 1TJ until Thursday morning for 11.00am Requiem Mass at St Patrick’s Church, Aughnagar, interment afterwards in St John’s Cemetery, Galbally.

Due to ongoing restrictions as a result of the pandemic both Mickie’s House and Requiem Mass will be Strictly Private and limited to family members. If you would like to pay your respects you may do so by the roadside as the funeral cortege departs Mickie’s home and makes its way to the Church. Please adhere to social distancing guidelines.
