Joseph Robert (Roy) MILLIGAN
The Friends of the late Roy Milligan wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who attended Watters Funeral Parlour on the night prior to his funeral. We would also like to thank all those who attended his funeral or paid their respects along the cortége route to the Church. A special thank you to Canon Colin Welsh for the spiritual support provided to Roy in the Causeway Hospital and to Rev Tommy Allen for his uplifting address at the funeral service, also Mr Ralph Pickering for his tribute to Roy. Thank you to Mr Sam Hudson for preparing the Church for the service and not forgetting the gravediggers for their difficult task. A heartfelt thank you especially to the staff of the Coronary Care Unit of the Causeway Hospital where he was compassionately and lovingly cared for during this final three weeks of his life and for facilitating his very peaceful passing. We are deeply indebted to them for their empathy, support and kindness. Thank you to those who donated money in lieu of flowers to Desertmartin Parish Church and Coronary Care Unit, Causeway Hospital, Coleraine. We sincerely thank Helen of D. Watters Funeral Services for the respect and professionalism shown throughout the preparations and funeral. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.
MILLIGAN Joseph Robert (Roy) Died on October 17th 2021, peacefully at The Causeway Hospital, Coleraine. Late of 41 Magherafelt Road, Tobermore.
Beloved Son of the late Bob and Elizabeth. House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Tuesday evening (October 19th) from 7.30pm – 8.30pm.
Funeral from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 20th at 2.30pm to Desertmartin Parish Church for service at 3pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard.
Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Desertmartin Parish Church and The Coronary Care Unit, Causeway Hospital, Coleraine, payable to D. Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP.
