Died 31st December 2024
Thank You from the Family of Muranna.
On behalf of our family, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported us during this difficult time as we said goodbye to our beloved Muranna.
To Dr Paul McIvor and all the incredible staff at the Foyle Hospice: your care for Muranna in her final weeks was nothing short of extraordinary. Despite the heartache of looking after a colleague and friend, you tended to her and our family with unparalleled professionalism, compassion, and love. You eased her transition and gave us comfort in the knowledge that she was surrounded by those who truly cared for her. We owe you a great debt of gratitude, and the work you do will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
To Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors: your professionalism and kindness during this time were a source of great comfort to us. You guided us through a painful process with such grace, ensuring everything was handled with care and dignity.
A heartfelt thank you to Father Gerard for leading a beautiful and meaningful service. Your words brought solace and honored Muranna’s life in a way that truly reflected her spirit.
To Isobel and Erin: your music was breathtaking and profoundly moving. It was clear to everyone why Muranna specifically requested you—it was a perfect tribute to her life, and we are so grateful for your talent and care.
To everyone who attended the service, visited the wake, brought cards, and made donations to the Foyle Hospice: thank you. Your presence, generosity, and shared memories of Muranna have been a great comfort to our family. Hearing how she touched so many lives has eased our grief and reminded us of the incredible legacy she leaves behind.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our family and friends who brought refreshments and helped out at the wake. From making tea to ensuring everyone was cared for, you lightened our burden in ways we can never fully express. We are truly grateful to have such an incredible community around us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Although we are heartbroken to lose her, it has been profoundly comforting to know how much she was loved and appreciated. She was an extraordinary woman who made a difference in countless lives, and we will carry her spirit forward in all we do.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
