MOORING (nee McAteer) Rose (Newry) – August 2, 2023, (peacefully) in the loving care of Ashgrove Nursing Home.

Rose, dearly beloved daughter of the late James and Bridget McAteer and sister of Eileen O’Hare, Bridie Cashman (Boston) and the late Annie, Rita, Jim and John.

Her remains will repose in Charles Digney & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Sugarhouse Quay, Newry on Thursday 2.00pm – 4.00pm and 6.00pm – 9.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10.00am in St Mary’s Church, Chapel Street. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Donations in lieu of flowers if desired to Ashgrove Social Fund.

Deeply regretted by her loving sisters, nieces, nephews, friends in Ashgrove, entire family circle and friends at home and abroad. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.”
