Robin contributed a great deal in his life to others. His wisdom and leadership skill benefited many. He chaired and sat on many Boards particularly agricultural related organisations. He had a strong character which resulted in a strong presence at meetings. Those of us who attended those meetings benefitted from his wise words on many occasions. As chairman of the NFU mutual having him as a Board member was of great value to me through his consistent support and advice . When relaxing after a tough meeting a glass or two of Bushmills set the world to rights. Whilst on trips with him to various parts of the world he enjoyed the opportunity to question and learn how others lived their lives. Robins family was the source of much pride to him . Their exploits and achievements he had great pleasure in relating . He and Frances had a very happy life together . My sincere sympathy to her and the family in their loss. Alun Evans
