Kenneth (Kenny) MORTON
The wife and family of the late Kenny Morton wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.
Special thanks to Magherafelt Respiratory Team, Peter Tohill, Lindsay, Karen and Helen and to all the staff of Antrim Area Hospital and Falls Chemist for their invaluable care and support over the years.
We would like to thank everyone who sent sympathy cards or letters, posted condolence messages on social media, telephoned, called at the home, brought food, attended the funeral or made donations in lieu of flowers to Derryloran Parish Church. Thanks also to Nicola of Roost & Roux for supplying food to the wake and to those members of our family who helped in the home.
Many thanks to Canon Norman Porteus and Canon Drew Dawson for their pastoral care over the years and for conducting the funeral service and to the church organist and caretaker.
Appreciation and thanks to Steenson funeral directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the council grave diggers.
We would also to thank Blair’s Catering for supplying the food for the funeral tea and the ladies of Derryloran Catering who served the food and provided tea and coffee.
We trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as an expression of our sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone who helped at this most difficult time.
“You will be missed, because your seat will be empty.”
