We, the family of the late Joe Murphy wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Thanks to those who called to the house, sent Mass cards and messages of sympathy and made donations to ‘Chest, Heart and Stroke’.

Thank you to those who attended the Funeral Mass and to the many who viewed the service on webcam. Your prayers and support were very much appreciated.
Our thanks to those who attended and supported Joe during his illness.
Our sincere thanks to Canon Francis Brown and Canon John Kearney for the lovely, personal and heartfelt Requiem Mass.

We would also like to thank Mr Francis McMahon for his help and support and to Gabriel Bradley for the beautiful singing and music during Joe’s Requiem Mass.

The Murphy family would also like to express their gratitude to McAnulty Funeral Directors for the professionalism in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

It would not be possible to thank everyone individually for their help, but please accept this acknowledgment as a token of the sincere appreciation from the family.

MURPHY Joseph (Joe) Died on 7th December 2021, peacefully at home, 47 Innisfree Park, Ballyholland, Newry.

Dearly loved husband of Alicia and loving father of Jim, Paula, Alicia, Sinead, Joseph, Laura, Ciara, Shane and Christopher. , and much loved brother of Paddy, Jim, Martin, Sean, Edith, Margaret, Rita and the late May and Paul. May his soul rest in peace.

Joe’s remains will leave his home on Thursday at 11.15am arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Burren for 12noon Requiem Mass, followed by interment in adjoining cemetery.

House private please and numbers in the church are limited.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters and entire family circle.
