MURPHY Philip, 2 Rocks Road, Ballyhornan and formerly Four Winds, Carryduff, died peacefully on Monday October 19, 2026 in the gentle care of Annadale Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. Dearly beloved husband of the late Evelyn, loving father of John, Paula and Gareth, cherished grandfather and father-in-law, and much loved brother of Dolores.

Philip is reposing at his son Gareth’s residence at 60 Tullyhubbert Road, Ballygowan with the family receiving visitors on tomorrow Thursday October 22nd from 4.00pm-9.00pm. Philip will leave his son’s residence on Friday October 23rd at 10.00am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Dunsford with interment following in the adjoining family burial ground.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing children, their spouses, grandchildren, sister Dolores and large circle of family and friends. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
