We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Thomas John “Tommy” Murphy. Peacefully at Larne Care Centre on Sunday the 17th of May 2026. May he rest in peace. Late of Brustin Lee, Ballygally, Larne and formerly of Feeny, Co. Derry.

Loving father of Sean (Gillian) and Deirdre (Russell). Devoted grandfather of Mhairi, Cairenn and Rian. Son of the late John Murphy and Bridget Murphy RIP and dear brother of Patsy Murphy and Annie Brady and the late Aggie, Sheila, Bridie and Jimmy RIP.

Deeply regretted by the wider family circle and family in America and Canada.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4NQ) on Wednesday the 20th of May from 7pm to 9pm and on Thursday 21st of May from 6pm to 8pm Leaving the funeral home at 8pm to repose in Saint Joseph’s Church, Banagher for 11am Requiem Mass on Friday 22nd of May 2026. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
