Michael MURRAY

Date of Death: Saturday 23rd December 2023 Town: Randalstown
Date of Death: Saturday 23rd December 2023

We, the family of Michael Murray, wish to express our sincere thanks to those who sympathised with us during this difficult time.

We would like to firstly thank the various emergency services who attended to Michael and who treated both Michael and ourselves with such dignity and respect that night.
To Bishop Donal McKeown, Canon Forsythe, Canon McWilliams and Father O’Reilly who supported us through the wake, funeral and who continue to support us through their kindness and prayers.
Thank you also to the Gribben Girls for their beautiful music during the funeral mass.
We thank Paddy and Dessie from Marrion’s Funeral Directors for their compassion, guidance, support and professionalism throughout the wake and funeral.
Thank you to our friends who dug Michael’s grave and prepared his final resting place.
Thank you to St Macnissi’s Parish Centre and staff for their hospitality and refreshments following Michael’s funeral.
A special thanks to Kickham’s Creggan who helped with stewarding and transport to and from Michael’s wake, ensuring that everything ran as smoothly as possible. Thank you for everything.
Thank you to all our friends and neighbours who also helped with transport, lighting on the lane, brought food, made tea and gave of their time over Christmas to help during the wake.
Finally, thank you to all those who came from near and far, especially during Christmas, to pay their respects to Michael. As a family we are deeply touched by all those who attended Michael’s wake and funeral, who have visited the house since and who have sent sympathy cards, Mass cards, condolences and well-wishes.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually for their kindness over the last few weeks and so we write this as a sincere token of our appreciation.

Michael’s month’s mind will take place on Saturday 27th January at 7pm in Sacred Heart Church, Cargin. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
St Michael the Archangel, pray for him.
