We, the family of the late Neil Mullin, beloved Husband of Susan, adored Father of Mary (Mark), Siobhan (Fergal), Niall (Kathleen) and Leonard; precious Grandfather of Melissa, Aideen, Niamh, Emma, Niall and Aidan and great-grandchildren, Eve, Thomas, Michael, Luke, Dara, Rory and Matthew. Dear Brother to Peggy, Mary, Anna, Ethna, Mickey, Charlie, Joe, Hughie and the late Brenda, Peter, John and Kathleen. Son of the late Neil and Mary Ann Mullin. Caring Father-in-law, Brother-in-law, Godfather, Uncle and good friend to many.
We are grateful to all who sent mass and sympathy cards, and to those who left messages of sympathy online and via social media. Thank you to those who attended the wake, the requiem mass and the burial.
We are grateful to those who gifted donations to Marie Curie in lieu of flowers. We are very blessed to have had the love and support of our family, relatives, friends and neighbours during and since the time of Neil’s passing.
A special word of thanks to Fr Michael O’Dwyer PP for his spiritual support and the very comforting requiem mass and to Canon Noel McGahan and Fr Pat McCrory who also assisted at the funeral mass, along with the altar servers. We would also like to thank Noleen Neill and family for the beautiful singing and music during mass, Michael Broderick for the videography and thanks also to those who helped out during mass; the readers, prayers of the faithful, eucharistic ministers and those who brought up gifts. With thanks also to Kathleen Mullin for providing the beautiful flower arrangements in the chapel.
Thank you to Farley’s Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave digger Ciaran Conroy for preparing Neil’s final resting place.
Our grateful thanks also to St Brigid’s Primary School Altamuskin and Errigal Ciaran GAC for providing guards of honour in such a dignified manner. Special thanks also, to Canavan’s who provided refreshments following the funeral.
We would like to thank all those who prepared and donated food, to those who helped tirelessly at our home serving refreshments, and to Pat Traynor Butchers, Canavan’s,Farley’s Bar, Il Carro Della Pizza and Jackie’s Nisa who kindly gifted refreshments.
We send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the health professionals with whom Neil came into contact, especially the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Carrickmore Health Centre, District Nurses, Rapid Response Team Omagh, Marie Curie Nurses and Carers. With thanks to Paul Tallon and staff at Tallon’s Pharmacy along with Neil’s Social Workers.
With thanks also to all those who assisted with car parking and PD Coaches for providing the transport.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deep gratitude. Neil is ever loved and greatly missed every day, may his kind and gentle soul be granted peace and eternal rest.
Neil’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Chapel, Dunmoyle, on Thursday 10th July at 7pm.

Beloved husband of Susan (nee McClean). Much loved father of Mary (Mark) , Siobhan (Fergal), Niall (Kathleen) and Leonard.
Cherished Grandfather of Melissa (Kevin), Aideen (Conor), Niamh (Christopher), Emma (Rian), Niall (Erica) and Aidan. Great Grandchilden ; Eve, Thomas, Michael, Luke, Dara, Rory and Matthew.
Loving brother of Peggy, Mary, Anna, Ethna, Mickey, Charlie, Joe, Hughie and the late Brenda, Peter, John and Kathleen. Son of the late Neil and Mary Ann Mullin.
Loving Uncle to his many Nieces and Nephews.
Reposing at his late residence, 52 Foremass Road, Sixmilecross BT79 9DT. House private today (Friday). Wake will commence 1pm to 9pm Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th June until removal on Monday 16th June at 11.30am for 12pm Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Dunmoyle. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
Family have respectfully requested that wake times are strictly adhered to from 1pm to 9pm. House private morning of funeral for family and close friends only.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters and brothers. The entire family circle, neighbour’s and friends. Our Lady pray for him.
Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Marie Curie.
