Eldest son of the late Neil and Lizzie Carlin. Much loved brother of Rev. Bro. Pearse, Veronica Saunders, Peter, Seamus, Siobhan O’Donnell and the late May, Noel, Eamonn, Terence, Betty and Brian. Cherished brother-in-law of Claire, Una, Gretta, Maura, Eugene and the late Tony, Phyllis, Brendan and Paula. Beloved uncle to all his nieces, nephews and their families. Dear cousin to the Carlin, Devine and McFadden families.

A Requiem Mass will be held in St Eugene’s Cathedral Derry on Saturday, September 5 at 3:30 pm. Mass may be viewed on the Cathedral webcam. Fr Seán’s Funeral Mass will take place in Hong Kong on Sunday, September 6 at 12:30 pm (Irish Time). Burial will take place in Hong Kong on Monday, September 7, 70 years from the day he entered the Society of Jesus. St. Ignatius of Loyola, St. Francis Xavier, St. Peter Faber, St. Columba pray for him.
