We , The O’Connor family would like to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent and very sad loss of Connor.
Sincere thanks to everyone who called at the wake and attended the funeral, brought Mass cards, gifts and sent messages of sympathy.
A special thanks to our family and friends who helped out during the wake.
Thank you to Fr Gerry Sweeney for his spiritual help and for celebrating Connor’s Requiem Mass.
We extend our thanks to Joelene Grieve and Martin Kealey for the beautiful music, to Annie Jo the church sacristan, Sean Mullan for preparing the final resting place, Cathal’s Flowers for the lovely coffin spray, McLaughlin Funeral Directors their very dignified and professional service and to all who helped prepare and serve the lovely warm refreshments after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank you all individually we hope you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation.
Connor’s Months Mind Mass will celebrated on Saturday 1st March 2025 in Saint Patrick’s Church, Dungiven at 6pm.

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Connor O’Connor suddenly at home on 25th of January 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of 80 Ard Na Smoll, Dungiven, Co Derry.

Devoted father of Conan. Beloved son of Bredge and Donald and loving brother of Martin, Declan, Dominic, Rory, Tracey and Donna. Very deeply regretted by Clare, all his nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles and the entire O’Connor & Tracey family circles.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4NQ ) this evening Monday 27th of January from 7pm to 9pm. Leaving the funeral home at 9pm to repose at his brother’s home 37 Mountainview Park, Dungiven. Wake there will commence on Tuesday (28th) from 11am – 10pm and Wednesday (29th)11am – 10pm. Family time tonight and morning of funeral. Funeral on Thursday 30th of January leaving his brother’s home at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Dungiven. Mass can be viewed on the link below. Interment afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Saint Padre Pio pray for him.
