O’CONNOR John Edward, June 30 2026, passed away peacefully, at home in Greysteel, surrounded by his beloved family, loving husband of Winifred, cherished father of Jackie, Leslie, Roderick, Pamela, Clifford, John, Petra, Brian and the late Trevor. John was a devoted grandfather and great grandfather, son of the late William and Mary O’Connor and dear brother of James, Dermot, Christopher, Mary Francis and the late Colm, Donald and Leo.

John’s remains are reposing in the family home, which will be strictly private. Funeral from there on Thursday, July 2 at 1.30 pm for 2 o’clock Requiem Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Marie Curie or Foyle Hospice. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.
