We the family of the late Bernie O’Connor would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us during our recent and sad bereavement.
Firstly we would like to thank the carers, sitters, neighbours, friends and everyone who helped look after Bernie during her illness.
Also , The acute team of Doctors & Nurses for their assistance in allowing us to keep Bernie at home.

Thank you to McLaughlin’s Funeral Directors for the dignified way in which they took care of Bernie.

Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral , brought Mass cards , sympathy cards, floral tributes and food .
Sincere thanks to Fr Michaél & Fr O’Reilly for the great send off given to Bernie and to Una & Garrett for the beautiful music.
Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation, all your kindness has not went unnoticed.

Bernie’s Month mind mass will be held in St Peter’s & St Paul’s Church, Foreglen on Saturday 5th of March 2022 at 7pm, our prayers will be offered for all of your intentions.

O’CONNOR (née Gormley) Bernadette (Bernie) – peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on 5th February 2022, may she rest in peace. Late of 17 Muldonagh Cottages, Foreglen, Co Derry.

Beloved wife of the late Josie R.I.P. Loving mother of Etta, Martin, Cathy, Paula, Cornelius and Joseph.
Dear sister of Rosemary, Kevin, Vera, Margaret and the late John, Pat, Tommy, Annie, Philomena and Cornelius R.I.P. A much loved grandmother, great grandmother and mother in law.

Viewing at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven) this evening from 5pm to 8pm.
Leaving the funeral home at 8pm to repose at her late residence.

Funeral from her late residence on Monday 7th of February leaving at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Foreglen, interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Funeral mass will be live streamed via the link below.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all her loving family. Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for her.
