O’CONNOR (nee Steele) Philomena – August 17, 2022, (peacefully) in Our Lady of Mercy Care Home, Newry, formerly 27 Hawthorn Hill, Newry.

Philomena – R.I.P. beloved wife of the late Pat O’ Connor and a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and mother-in-law.

Phyl’s remains will be removed from Mc Gennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ today (Wednesday August 17) at 5.00pm to her late residence.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday (August 19) at 12.00 noon in The Church of the Assumption, Drumalane followed by burial in Monkshill cemetery.
