ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Sadie’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all their family and friends who sympathised and supported them through their recent bereavement, those who sent flowers and cards, called at the house and attended the funeral. Sincere thanks to the staff at Deanfield Private Nursing Home and Hospital at Home for their compassionate care and comfort they provided for Sadie and her family during this sad time, and a special thank you to Fr Kevin Mulhern who celebrated the funeral mass.

Sadie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 22nd February at 6.00pm in the Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty.

O’DOHERTY (nee Watson) Sarah (Sadie), 23rd January 2025 peacefully at Deanfield Nursing Home, formerly of Lindenwood Park, Foyle Springs, beloved wife of the late John, devoted mother of Siobhan, Jennifer, Amanda, Shauna and son Johno, dearest mother-in-law of Sarah, Mark, Brian, Javan and Brian and a much loved grandmother and great-grandmother.

Sadie’s remains will be reposing at her daughter Amanda’s home, 6 Dunnwood Park, Derry, BT47 2NN from 6 pm to 8pm this evening, Saturday 25th January. Her wake will resume again on Sunday 26th January from 12 noon to 8pm.

Funeral from there on Monday, 27th January 2025 at 9.20 am for 10 o’clock Requiem Mass in the Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty. Interment afterwards in the City cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers if wished to the Foyle Hospice, 61 Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 8JE. Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her. May she Rest in Peace.
