We the Management, Staff, Patients and their families of Rivervale Country Private Care Home past and present wish to offer our sincere condolences to the family of Fr O'Donnell on his passing to eternal life. We have been privileged to have had Fr O'Donnell as our Chaplin and friend from 1990. His journey with Rivervale has been a blessing to all of us. He was a humble and gentle servant of Christ who was always ready to answer the call day or night, to bring peace and comfort to the dying and to their families by preparing their loved ones for their journey to eternal life. A priest of few words, but words which had great comfort and meaning. To sum him up in his own words "If a patient needs me, I will go" which speaks volumes of the Priest that he was. We will be forever indebted to him for all the good deeds he has done in his life and we assure you of our prayers for the repose of Fr O'Donnell's soul and for all those who grieve following his passing. May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
