Acknowledgement for the late Barney O’Hare:
We, the family of the late Barney O’Hare would like to express our grateful appreciation to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
To our relatives, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, we are grateful for your compassion.
To those who donated to The Southern Area Hospice, we extend our sincere thanks.
A special thanks to all the Doctors, Nurses and N.C. Carers for all their kindness, care and support.
Thank you to Monsignor Hugh Connolly, Fr. Zeb Obasi and all who assisted with the Funeral Mass. The musicians Kevin Kearney and Terry Rafferty for their beautiful contribution to the Mass.
Sincere thanks to Cathal McAnulty Funeral Directors for the professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thank you to Mayobridge Parish for the use of the Parochial Hall, Daniel Morgan for his assistance, Diamonds Restaurant for the food after the Funeral and to Mayobridge GAC who participated in the Guards of Honour.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this Acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude.
Barney’s Months Mind Mass will take place on Saturday 7th June at 6pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Mayobridge. May he rest in peace.
O’HARE Brian (Barney) (Mayobridge) 12th May 2025, peacefully at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, Warrenpoint, Brian (Barney) beloved husband of the late Philomena, loving father of Declan (Tracy), Dolores (Tomas), Jim and Michael (Fern), father-in-law of the late Roisin and much-loved grandfather of Síofra, Caolán, Che, Kyle and Jade, great grandfather of Ríonagh and a much-loved brother. 27 St. Anne’s Park, Mayobridge, BT34 2HH. May his soul rest in peace.
Barney’s remains will repose at his home on Monday from 3pm – 9pm and on Tuesday 1pm – 9pm. Removal on Wednesday at 11.30am arriving at St. Patrick’s Church, Mayobridge for 12noon Requiem Mass followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. House private on morning of funeral please.
Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his family, extended family circle and friends.
