O’KANE John Dermot Celestine, peacefully at Cornfield Care Centre surrounded by his loving family on August 1 2026. May he rest in peace. Formerly of 39 Main Street, Feeny. Son of the late John and Mary O’Kane RIP and loving brother of Ann, Patricia, Collette, Eugene, Charlie, James, Rosella and Claire. Fondly remembered by his sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven, BT47 4NQ) on Sunday, August 2 from 6pm to 9pm. Leaving the funeral home at 9pm to repose at his sister Rosella’s home. Wake house private. Funeral on Tuesday, August 4 2026, leaving his sister’s home (Glenedra Road, Feeny) at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in Saint Joseph’s Church, Banagher. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed via the church webcam. Sacred Heart of Jesus pray for him.
