We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Sheila O’Kane née McLaughlin peacefully in Ward 50, Altnagelvin Hospital surrounded by her loving family on the 21st of October 2025. May she rest in peace. Late of 43 Columbia Park, Foreglen, Co Derry.

Beloved wife of the late Jimmy RIP and loving mother of Mark (Treasa), Lisa (Paddy), Jordan (Tini) , James (Eilis) and Kieran (Ciara). Will be sadly missed by all her loving grandchildren. Daughter of the late Bobby and Jane RIP and dear sister of Kathleen (Willie RIP), Geraldine (Michael), Patricia (Hugh), Marion (Peter) and brother Jude (Margaret). Deeply regretted by the O’Kane and McLaughlin family circles.

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven BT47 4NQ) Thursday 23rd from 7pm to 9pm. Leaving the funeral home at 9pm to repose at her late home. Family time please from 10pm to 11am and morning of funeral.

Funeral from her late home on Saturday 25th of October leaving at 10.30am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Foreglen. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Saint Padre Pio pray for her.
