The family of the late Willie O’Kane would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to all those who sympathised and supported them in their recent sad bereavement.

Thanks also to those who sent Mass cards,sympathy cards,telephoned and called at the house.
To those who brought and served food and to The Halfway House Aughafatten for use of their kitchen equipment and The Londonderry Arms Hotel Carnlough for the after funeral meal we thank you all.

We are very grateful to relatives, friends and neighbours who attended the funeral Mass,and immensely grateful and thankful to cousin Fr.Aidan O’Kane CP and Fr.Dermot McKay PP for spiritual support and beautiful and meaningful tribute payed to Willie at his Requiem Mass also Eugene O Dornan soloist for his beautiful and spiritual singing.

We appreciate the dedication and support given by the medical and nursing staff of CSICU RVH for their endless care to Willie.Finally thanks to Michael McSparron funeral director for his considerate and dignified way in carrying out all the funeral arrangements,Joseph Cunning for his attention at the graveside.

Willies month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 19th November at 7.30pm in The Church of St. John the Evangelist Carnlough.

O’KANE William Hugh (Willie) Died on October 19th 2021, peacefully at hospital. Late of Falmore, Ballyvaddy.

Husband of Josie and father of Seamus, Nuala, Liam and the late Bronagh. R.I. P.

Funeral on Saturday leaving his late residence at 10.15am to arrive at the Church of St John the Evangelist for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the parish cemetery.

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, daughter-in-law Michelle and grandchildren Shannon, Kelly, Rory, Liam and Bronagh, brothers and sister Patrick, James, and Mary, and very close cousins Padraig, Mark and Fr Aidan CP and extended family circle, also remembering the late Dillon and John. Our Lady Queen of Ireland pray for him.

Please be advised numbers in the Church are Restricted to Family Members Only (73) and face coverings must be worn at all times.
