O’NEILL Gerald (Gerry), peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on 28th August 2026. Late of 6 Noreen Walk, Bligh’s Lane. May he rest in peace.

Beloved husband of Rosemary. Devoted father of Amanda, Jennifer, Geraldine and Gerald. Loving Granda of Abbie, Lola, Quinn, Lottie, Samson, Layla and Norah-Rose. A much loved brother to all of his brothers and sisters. A dear brother-in-law. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Gerry will be reposing at his late family home, 6 Noreen Walk, Bligh’s Lane from 4pm this afternoon, Saturday 29th August. Funeral leaving from there on Monday 31st August at 9:20am for Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan at 10am. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

The wake house will be private from 10pm until 11am.
