We the husband, sons, daughters and family circle of the late Ita O’Neill (nee Graham) wish to express our sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us during the loss of our dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother and Great-grandmother Ita.
Heartfelt thanks to our relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who sent messages of sympathy through social media, sympathy cards and mass cards .Our most sincere thanks to those who lined the funeral route, attended the requiem Mass or watched via the webcam.
A special word of thanks to the staff of Diamond Medical Center especially to Dr Morris, who cared for Ita with dignity, kindness and friendship providing unwavering support and care for both Ita and us her family in the last months of her life. We would also wish to express our genuine thanks to the Marie Currie Nurses and the District nursing team who in conjunction with Dr Morris allowed us to fulfil Ita’s wish of being in the comfort of her own home with her family in her final months. We would also like to acknowledge and thank the Moneymore Pharmacy especially Stephen and Andrew, who were always available and full of support and kindness.
We wish to express our sincere thanks to Fr Sean McGuigan who provided spiritual support to Ita and also Fr Martin McArdle for the pastoral care and spiritual support given to both Ita and us as a family through this difficult time and also for celebrating the beautiful requiem mass. Thank you to Michael Corey for the memorable singing and music that accompanied the mass. To the Sacristan our dear neighbour Pat Clarke, the grave digger Joe Wilson, Michael McElhatton ( Greenvale) & Kelly’s Eurospar Moneymore for providing food and to all those who helped us in any way our most genuine thanks.
Our heartfelt thanks is also extended to McCusker Bros (Funeral Directors) for the professional, compassionate and dignified way they carried out the funeral arrangements and also for the support and comfort they provided to us as a family.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our heartfelt appreciation and wholehearted thanks to everyone.
Ita’s Months Mind mass will be celebrated at the Church of St John and St Trea Moneymore on Thurs 14th October 7:30pm.

Beloved wife of Brendan and loving mother of Gerard, Olivia, James, Jacqueline, Sharon and the late Francis and Benedicta, daughter of the late Hugh Thomas & Mary Graham and dear sister of Jackie, Olive McElkearney, Plunkett, Francie, Ann Murray, Monica Rocks, Martina Leacock and the late Gerard and Ben.
Funeral from her home 70 Northland Road on Friday 17th September at 10.40am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in Church of St. John and St Trea Moneymore, interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
Deeply regretted by her husband, sons, daughters, sons in law, daughters in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and extended family circle.
House Strictly Private, immediate family only please. The Funeral numbers will be limited to social distancing within the Church.
