Séan’s children and grandchildren, brothers, sisters and family circle would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with them on his recent death.

Thanks to all those who attended the wake and funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, kind messages and generously donated to St Vincent de Paul. Thanks also to local businesses and friends who brought food to the house and helped at the wake and funeral dinner.
The family are forever grateful to Fr Madden for his support throughout Séan’s illness and the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks to Fr Séamus O’Neill (Columban), Fr McGirr and Fr McGuigan for assisting and the children of St Mary’s Primary School, Draperstown for the beautiful music.

Thanks to all the staff at Draperstown Surgery, Antrim Area Hospital DAU and O’Kane’s Pharmacy, Carers and District Nurses for all their help and support during Séan’s illness.
Thanks to St Colm’s GAC Ballinascreen for the use of their facilities and equipment, and its members who helped at the wake. Thanks also to the pupils of St Colm’s High School who assisted at the funeral dinner.

Special word of thanks to K. Murray and son Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Séan’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in The Holy Rosary Church Draperstown on Friday 29th December at 7.30pm.

Beloved husband of the late Alice Jo (McBride) and loving father of Andrew (Siobhán McErlain), Seamus (Sandra Mortimer), Sean D (Heather McRandal), Catherine (Adrian McCoy), Dermot (Brona McCorry), Peter (Emma Massey), Joanne (Patrick Lannen), Michael, and Eilis (Andrew McKechanie). Devoted grandfather to his much-loved grandchildren. Brother of Fr Seamus (SSC), Colm, Maire Gormley and Gemma Heron.

Wake at his home (16 Tobermore Road, BT45 7HG). House Private please between 10.00pm to 11.00am. Funeral from his home tomorrow Tuesday December 5th at 10.30am for 11.00am Mass in St Columba’s Church, Straw, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations to St Vincent de Paul please. St Joseph pray for him.
