We the family, brother Eunan, sister-in-law Patricia, nephew James and nieces Ellen, Oliveen and Kate of the late Ethine O’Rourke (Belfast and Banbridge) would like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest and most heartfelt appreciation to all of you who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. We greatly valued each and every one who took the time to send Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, phone calls, messages, floral tributes and donations to Diabetes UK.
To all those who surrounded us with their kindness, care and support as Ethine’s wake and Requiem Mass, we extend to you our gratitude and thanks.
A special word of thanks to Dr Couples, Dr McCready and Dr Huey, the carers, district nurses, the hospital doctors, nurses and staff who treated Ethine with such incredible care and compassion. Our thanks are extended to her employers and colleagues who kept Ethine positive to the end.

To Fr Andrew McMahon, the soloist Janice Gribben who reflected Ethine’s life in a beautiful mass.
Finally, thank you to Patricia, Ciaran and Declan of Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors for their compassion and professionalism with which they carried out Ethine’s Funeral and to Central Florists for the beautiful flower arrangements.

It is impossible for us to personally thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family’s sincere thanks and appreciation.
