Date of Death: Thursday 15th May 2025

The family of the late Paddy Quinn (Packie) wish to express their heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to all who supported them during their recent bereavement.

Special thanks to Rev. Fr Kevin McElhennon P. P. and Rev. Fr Declan McGeehan C.C.; the staff of Three Spires Surgery, Dr Olivia Ramsey for her professional care; Dr Eamon McMullan; the Community Care Team; and the Omagh Specialist Palliative Care Team for their dedication, comfort, and care. Thanks also to Patrick and the staff at Slevin’s Chemist, and the wonderful neighbours and friends on St Mary’s Road and across the wider community. The family is also grateful to Éire Óg, Carrickmore, and Killyclogher GAC for the support and respect shown during Paddy’s final homecoming.

Sincere thanks to everyone who called to the family home, attended Paddy’s funeral mass, or sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, messages, telephone calls and made donations; your kindness will never be forgotten.

The family are especially grateful to those who assisted during the wake and funeral — provided, prepared and served food and refreshments, provided transport, and helped with other practical arrangements. Thank you to the wider Quinn family, the Killyclogher GAC team of volunteers, neighbours on St Mary’s Road, Orla in the Parish Office, the caretaker at the Cappagh Parish Hall, Barry and Aine O’Connor, the grave diggers, Peter McBride (Spar), Mickey McCartan (Pizzamac), Niall and Emma McFadden (Buddies Childtime Centre), Malachi Cush for the beautiful music, and Kate McAleer (McAleer Funeral Directors) for her dignified and professional and caring service.

Finally, our sincere thanks to Fr Declan for celebrating Paddy’s funeral Mass with such compassion and reverence.

Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest appreciation.

Paddy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 14th June at 10.00am in St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher.
