Pat’s nieces and nephews would like to express their sincere thanks
and gratitude to all who supported them with Pat’s care.
Thank you to his Carers (Support Care) who looked after him so
respectfully and tenderly every day. We also thank his private
carers Pauline, Jennifer and Nuala who were so reliable and diligent
in their care for Pat.
We thank all the medical staff who were so attentive to Pat over
the past few years:
Dr McKay and the staff in Ardmore medical practice, Helen and
Patricia in Pomeroy Health centre, the District nurses, Social
workers, staff in Podiatry and OT departments.
A special word of thanks to Damien, Anne, Arelene and Margaret in
Pomeroy pharmacy who were always on hand to advise and furnish
Pat’s medication.
A very sincere and heart felt thank you to Fr. Moore for his
spiritual support when he visited Pat each month.
Thank you to Fr. Moore for his advice and support to the family
during the wake and for the beautiful funeral Mass and very
comforting homily.
A special word of thanks to Fr. Barney McAleer for his prayers in
Pat’s house and in the chapel.
To Gerry Loughran who played and sang at Pat’s funeral, he would
have loved your music and hymns.
Thank you to Patrick the Sacristan for his help during the Mass and
to the grave digger who prepared Pat’s final resting place.
Thank you to Kate McAleer, Peter Murphy and John Donaghy for the
dignified and professional manner in which they carried out Pat’s
funeral arrangements.
We want to thank everyone who sympathised with us. We are very
grateful to Pat’s neighbours, friends and work colleagues who gave
their time to attend the chapel for Pat’s arrival on Sunday evening
and his funeral on Monday morning.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude.
Pat’s month mind Mass will be celebrated in the Church of the
Assumption, Pomeroy on Tuesday January 28th at 7:30 pm

Beloved son of the late John and Brigid RIP and cherished brother of the late Mary Rose, Anna, Jim, John, and Margaret RIP. Adored by his nephews and nieces.
Pat is reposing at home. In accordance with Pat’s wishes, his family have respectively requested that his home remain private. Removal from 15 Tanderagee Rd. BT70 3DS tomorrow (Sunday) to be received into The Church of the Assumption for 4pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Our Lady intercede on his behalf.
Deeply loved and missed by his sorrowing nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, entire family circle, neighbours and friends.
