On behalf of our parents, Cecil and Emily Darragh (urney )and family ,we would like to pass on our sincere condolences to all the McAleer family. Patrick and his brother Geard visited us in Urney at our concrete business during the early 1970s to inspect a new block machine we had just purchased, from that day on an everlasting friendship development .There was many phone calls exchanged sharing advice, worries or just for a good old catch-up during the next 50 years. Our visits to Partick and Mary in their home in Pomeroy with their family where not as often as we would have loved ,but everytime you where sure to be welcomed with open arms . Patrick was always a true gentleman and it was a privilege to call him a dear friend , one we will forever hold in our hearts . Cecil & Emily Darragh & Family Urney

My deepest sympathies to the Mcaleer family. Patrick was a true gentleman and such a genuinely nice person with an amazing caring family. I will always remember my time caring for Patrick as he always was so appreciative of everything the homecare girls would do and always up for a laugh and a chat.
