POLAND Gerald (Gabriel) (Ballon and Aughagallon) March 18, 2024, (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family, on Monday at his home, “Mountview”, Boggin Hill, Ballon, Co. Carlow and formerly of Aughagallon, Co Armagh.

Gerald Gabriel, beloved husband of Jean, adored father of Paula, Canon Conor and the late baby Carmel and cherished Papa of Gabriel.

Gabriel will repose at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow, (Eircode R93 C8630) on Thursday March 21, from 6pm, concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening Funeral Mass will take place on Friday March 22, at 12 noon in St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Ballon, Co. Carlow and will be followed by a private cremation Service at Glasnevin Crematorium, Dublin.

Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Gardai Benevolent Fund.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughter, grandson, Gabriel’s father Miceal, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family and friends.
