Acknowledgement/Month’s Mind Mass
The family of the late Lynn Porter wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who offered their support and sympathy during their recent bereavement.
We are all very grateful to our relatives, friends and neighbours of Brookdale Crescent who visited the house, attended the requiem mass and graveside and sent floral arrangements, mass cards, and kept Lynn in their prayers.
Special thanks to Lynn’s doctors and nurses in ward 40 at Altnagelvin hospital and the staff of the Royal Hospital in Belfast for their care of Lynn during her hospital stay, and to Fr Seán O’ Donnell, Fr Gerard Mongan and the Franciscan Friars for the beautiful requiem mass.

Lynn’s month’s mind mass will take place at 6:30 pm on Sunday (Easter Sunday) the 20th of April in St Joseph’s Parish in Galliagh.
PORTER Lynn, 21st March 2025, peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Altnagelvin Hospital. Beloved daughter of the late Andy and May, cherished sister of Barbara, Pius, Phil, Seamus, Liam, Bernie and the late Maureen, Anne and Eddie, a dear sister-in-law and a devoted aunt and great-aunt to all her nieces and nephews. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by the entire family circle.
Lynn will be reposing at her home, 30 Brookdale Crescent, on Saturday 22nd March from 1:30pm.
Funeral leaving her home on Monday 24th March at 10:30am to St Joseph’s Church, Galliagh for Requiem Mass at 11:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady Of Lourdes intercede for her.
