PORTER William John (Liam) (1937-2025) Peacefully at Edenballymore Lodge on the 6th of August 2025, may he rest in peace. Late of 36 Braefield, Claudy, Co Derry and formerly Buncrana, Co Donegal and Athy, Co Kildare.

Beloved husband of Anne. Loving father of Declan (Carole) and Paul (Lesly-Anne). Devoted grandfather of Colm ( Siobhan), Laura, Clodagh, Ciara and Matthew. Dear brother of Francis (Kathleen R.I.P), John (Anna), Catherine Boyle (Ignatius R.I.P) and Noel (Mamie).

You are welcome to pay your respects at McLaughlin’s Funeral Home (414a Ballyquin Road, Dungiven BT47 4NQ) on Thursday 7th August 12pm – 2pm and 7pm – 9pm. Funeral leaving from his late home on Friday 8th of August leaving at 1.30pm for 2pm Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick‘s Church, Claudy. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.
