POWER (nee Baker) Kathleen Florence – 6th January 2022 peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital in her 100th year. Late of Canal Street Newry.

Beloved wife of the late John Askey, cherished mother of Shirley (Hamilton), Carole (Little), Graeme and Cathy (Dodds); devoted Nanny of Nigel, Gail and Gavin, David, Susan, Karen and Robert, Lyndsay and Simon and a treasured great grandmother and loving mother-in law of Raymond, John and the late Drew.

House strictly private please.

Funeral Service in Newry Methodist Church on Sunday at 2 pm, followed by burial in the Presbyterian Cemetery Armagh Road, Newry. Due to the current regulations numbers in the church are still restricted.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired, for the Children’s Cancer Unit Charity, cheques payable to G Preston Funeral Directors 1 Main Street Bessbrook, Newry BT35 7DJ.

Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her entire family circle. Safe in the Arms of Jesus.
