Ann QUINN (nee Conroy)

Acknowledgment and months mind Mass
We the daughters of the late Anne Quinn wish to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with us on the passing of a much loved mother, sister, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, auntie, cousin and friend.
We are very grateful for the support and prayers of those who attended the wake, removal of her remains and the funeral mass. It was very comforting to see you all there. We wish to also thank those that sent mass cards, sympathy cards and sent messages of condolences, including messages on social media. Your thoughts and prayers were greatly appreciated.
We would especially like to thank Mummy’s nurses and carers who tended to her so attentively in Ashbrook Care Home, Clonoe for the last 3 years. Each and every one of them showed great kindness, patience and genuine care which will never be forgotten. We will be eternally thankful for your compassion especially in her final days.
Sincere thanks also to the many domiciliary and private carers who supported mummy for many years. With their help, we were able to keep her at home for a prolonged period prior to her years in the care home. We were blessed to have them.
A special word of thanks also to the Acute Care at Home Team and to Dr O’Donnell GP from the Medical Centre, Coalisland who had regular input recently. Their professional input was appreciated.
We wish to express our gratitude also to all those who helped out tirelessly in many ways at the wake, both in the kitchen serving tea and refreshments and helping to park cars. Thank you all for being so generous with your time.
Our sincere thanks to Canon Fee who provided spiritual care to mummy while in Ashbrook Care Home. His regular visits were greatly valued. Special appreciation is also extended to Fr Hannigan PP, Killeeshil for his wonderful spiritual guidance and support and for celebrating the beautiful funeral Mass. At the funeral, we were so uplifted by the gifted singing and music performed by Orla Hamill and Damian Cullen. Thanks also to all the grandchildren who performed their duties so well at the funeral mass. Their involvement really added to the occasion.
Genuine thanks to Paudge Quinn for the very dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements. We are thankful for your professionalism and support. Also thank you to Kevin and Ciaran McElvogue for the marquee and to Sean and Michael Rafferty (her grand-nephews) who dug and prepared Mummy’s grave. We would also like to thank the staff of Quinn’s Corner for the beautiful meal following the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our utmost appreciation.
Mummy’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Church, Ackinduff on Friday 7th March at 7.30pm
