Jason RAFFERTY

Date of Death: Wednesday 2nd April 2025 Town: Omagh
Date of Death: Wednesday 2nd April 2025

We, the family of Jason Rafferty, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised, prayed and supported us in so many ways through our recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who called at our family home, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu and to those who brought food or helped to serve refreshments at the wake.

Sincere appreciation to all those who helped care for Jason during his illness, especially the Palliative Care Ward in Omagh Hospital and the Cancer Centre in Belfast, who showed Jason such care and compassion throughout his illness and in his final days.

A special thanks to Father Declan McGeehan who attended after Jason died and Father Hasson for the beautiful and personal Homily and Requiem Mass, which was a fitting tribute to Jason’s life. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in Jason’s Requiem Mass and a special note of thanks to Donna Taggart and Damien Cullen who provided the deeply moving music.

Thank you to O’Kane Bros. Ltd. Funeral Directors, Omagh for providing such professional and dignified arrangements and sincere thanks to the grave diggers who prepared Jason’s final resting place. We also wish to thank Judith at Floral Temptations for the beautiful flower arrangements and to Mark McBride and Drumragh Sarfields for the refreshments afterwards.

As it is impossible to thank everyone personally, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep appreciation to all those who helped and supported us in any way. Jason will be loved and missed every day and his memory forever treasured. We pray his gentle spirit finds peace and eternal rest.

Jason’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday 28th April at 7.30pm in Sacred Heart Church, Omagh.
