It is with heartfelt gratitude that we, the family of Eilish Rafferty, wish to acknowledge and thank all those who have supported us during our recent bereavement.
We deeply appreciate the kindness and comfort extended to us through prayers, messages, visits, contributions of food, attendance at the Wake and Funeral, donations to MNDA and the thoughtful Mass and sympathy cards.
Your support has been a source of strength to us.
A special word of thanks to Canon Francis Brown, Monsignor Hugh Connolly and Fr Carlos for their guidance, support and the lovely requiem mass for Eilish.
Thanks also to Mrs Janice Gribben for the beautiful music and singing.
We wish to express our appreciation to the staff of Daisy Hill and Craigavon Area Hospitals who cared for Eilish throughout her illness, The staff of Warrenpoint Health Centre, in particular Dr Murdock and Dr Gilsenan, and Eilish’s team of diligent carers who cared for her with compassion during her illness and in her final days.
A special thanks to Carmel and Emma for their gentle care of Eilish and their words of support for us.
We wish to acknowledge Cumann Pheadair Naofa (St Peter’s GAA Club), Kelly Brothers, Newry Rugby Club, The staff of Female Surgical/Gynae Daisy Hill Hospital, St. Dallan’s Primary School and NI Fire & Rescue Service Newry for their support in so many ways throughout the Wake and Funeral.
Finally, a special word of thanks to McAnulty Funeral Directors for their professionalism, guidance and the dignified way they handled the Funeral Arrangements.
Although we cannot thank everyone individually, please know that we are deeply moved and truly grateful for all the support and kindness received during this difficult time.

Eilish’s Months Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 26th January in St. Peter’s Church Warrenpoint at 11.30am.

RAFFERTY (née Boylan) Eilish (Warrenpoint) 23rd December 2024, peacefully at home5, Cloneden, Dallan Hill, Warrenpoint. BT34 3FT

Eilish, dearly loved wife of John, loving mother of Catherine (Conan), John (Sarah) and Mark (Amy) and devoted grandmother to Cian and Ayda. Much-loved sister of Terry, Patricia, Brian, Sheila, May, Sean, Linda, Jim, Clare, Siobhan and Gerald. May her soul rest in peace.

Eilish’s remains will repose at her home on Tuesday from 12pm – 8pm. House private on Christmas Day and morning of Funeral please.

Removal on Thursday to St. Peter’s Church, Warrenpoint arriving for 10.30am Requiem Mass followed by interment in Warrenpoint Municipal Cemetery.

Lovingly remembered by her family, extended family circle and friends.
