Margaret and the family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their sympathy and support following the passing of their beloved Joe.
We are deeply grateful to all who visited the house, sent cards, messages, and kind words. It brought great comfort to see just how many people held Joe close to their hearts. A sincere thank you to those who made donations to the RNLI in Joe’s memory — a fitting tribute to his deep love for the sea and fishing.
Thank you to all the staff at Causeway Hospital who cared for Joe in his final days.
A special thank you goes to Fr McKay and Fr Daly for their guidance, kindness, and unwavering support.
Our thanks also to everyone who helped make Joe’s service a peaceful and meaningful farewell — to the singer Una McGill ,Wishy, those who attended, and the Carrick-a-Rede Bar for the refreshments.
Lastly, we offer our deepest thanks to DJM Robinsons for their exceptional service. Their professionalism and care made a difficult time so much easier and brought real comfort to the whole family.
Joe Reid’s Months Mind Mass will be on Saturday 5th July at St Mary’s and St Joseph’s Church, Ballintoy, at 5:30pm.
