RICE (née Marron) Una died on October 31st 2021 at Daisy Hill Hospital, peacefully, surrounded by her family. Late of ‘Hillside’, 7 Church Hill, Jonesborough, BT35 8SG
Beloved wife of Pat and loving mother of Paul and Treasa. Una’s remains will repose in McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Newry BT35 8LZ on Monday November 1st from 2pm until 4.00pm and people are welcome to pay their respects at the funeral home. Removal at approximately 4.15pm to Una’s late residence which will remain strictly private for the duration of the wake please.
Removal on Wednesday morning (November 3rd) at 10.30am, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am in the Sacred Heart Church, Jonesborough. Burial afterwards in Jonesborough Cemetery. Our Lady Queen of the Most Holy Rosary pray for her.
Very deeply regretted by her loving husband, son, daughter, grandchildren Patrick, Darragh and Róisín, sister Laura, daughter-in-law Jane, sisters-in-law Sheelagh and Kay, brother-in-law Mick, nephews, nieces and the wider family circle.
Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Southern Area Hospice, c/o the family. May she rest in peace.
