Ryan ROBERTS

Date of Death: Saturday 2nd December 2023 Town: Omagh
Date of Death: Saturday 2nd December 2023

The late Ryan’s mum and dad, Michelle and Russell, brothers David (Natalie), Peter, Harry and Matthew, sister Chloe and wider family circle wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised and supported us at the sudden and untimely death of our beloved son, brother, brother-in- law, grandson, nephew and cousin.

We would like to sincerely thank all emergency services who attended Ryan, in particular the Paramedics, Ambulance and Garda crews and those who assisted him in any way. A special word of thanks to the nursing and medical staff of Dublin’s St James’s Hospital A&E and ICU.

We will be forever grateful for the dedicated care, kindness, compassion and dignity given to Ryan and our family and the pastoral care offered. To those who paid their respects by attending the wake coming from near and far, offered their thoughts and prayers, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, messages and letters of sympathy and support, shared the wonderful stories, anecdotes and tales, sent flowers and wreaths and supported us in so many ways we express our heartfelt thanks.

Our sincere gratitude to our kind families, neighbours, friends and local businesses, to Ryan’s friends and work colleagues, to those who assisted during the wake, brought gifts and provided food or helped in any other way.

Sincere appreciation to all those who paid their respects as the funeral cortege made its way to the chapel, arranged Guards of Honour and to those who attended the Funeral Mass and burial as well as those who joined us via webcam.

A very special thanks to Fr Eugene Hasson, Fr Michael McCaul, Rev Robert Herron, Rev Colin Mercer, Fr Thomas Canning and Fr Peter McCawille for calling to the family home, their prayers, spiritual guidance and support during this very difficult time and to Fr McCaul for the beautiful heartfelt Funeral Mass which celebrated Ryan’s life in a warm and personal manner.

A special thank you to Donna Taggart and Rory Madden for the beautiful singing and music and to all those who participated in the funeral mass, the Eucharistic ministers, readers, gift bearers and Sacristan for preparing the chapel.

To Charles Lynch, the Funeral Director who carried out the funeral arrangements with great efficiency, dignity and respect and to his assistant Martin Donnelly we express our sincere thanks.

Thank you to the gravediggers for preparing Ryan’s final resting place, to Mark and Mairead McBride for providing refreshments after the funeral and to Cappagh Parish for the use of their Hall.

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to Chris Breen for setting up a “GoFundMe” page and we thank all those who donated personally and through “GoFundMe” most sincerely for your generosity and support.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as a token of our huge appreciation and deepest gratitude. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.

“His warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
We will always be grateful for the person he was.” Forever loved by the Roberts and Donnelly families
Omagh, Brighton, Drumquin and Ederney.
