The death has taken place of Shaun Rodgers, peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast on 30th September 2023.

Shaun’s very sad passing comes after a long and hard fight in Altnagelvin, Belfast City and the Royal Victoria Hospital’s.

Late of 7 Inveroe Gardens. May he rest in peace.

Beloved son of the late Margaret and Charlie. Devoted father of Rachael and Shaun-Paul. Loving brother of Paul, Charlie, Ann, Eileen, Michael, Stephen (Buddy) and the late Willie and Tony. A much loved uncle of the late Hayley. Dearest friend of the late Macker. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his nieces, nephews, wider family circle, friends and neighbours.

Shaun’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 7 Inveroe Gardens from 5pm this afternoon, Sunday 1st October. Funeral leaving from there on Tuesday 3rd October at 9:20am for 10am requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Wake house will be strictly private from 10pm till 10am.
