Colman ROONEY

Date of Death: Sunday 1st December 2024 Town: Belfast
Date of Death: Sunday 1st December 2024

The family of Colman Rooney would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Many thanks to those who visited him, both at home and in hospital, sent flowers, cards, attended the wake and funeral – some of who travelled a great distance to be there. Thank you also to those who sent messages of support and watched the service online. Your support did not go unnoticed.

To Laurence and the wonderful staff at O’Neill’s funeral directors – thank you for your professionalism, your guidance along the way and for all you did to handle the funeral arrangements in a dignified way. Thank you to Fr Raymond McCullagh and the staff at St Agnes’ for the beautiful service and to Cara McCann for the music and singing.
A special thanks goes to the wonderful team at Connected Health, in particular Jamie, Rachel, Cat, Roisin, Donna and Megan, who became like family to Colman in his final years. Thank you truly for allowing him the respect and dignity he deserved. We could never repay you for this.
To the Staff at the Cuan, the staff of Aisling Daycare, the District Nurses at Beech Hall, and all organisations who supported us through our loss – we thank you wholeheartedly. It would be impossible to acknowledge everyone individually, but your support has not gone unnoticed.
“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.”

Colman’s months mind will take place on Saturday 4th January at 6.30pm in St Agnes’, Andersonstown.
