Bridie ROONEY (nee Jones)
The family of the late Bridie Rooney wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all of those who supported us in our recent sad bereavement. We would like to thank our family, extended family, neighbours and friends. To all of you who provided us support, food, mass and sympathy cards and attended her funeral we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude.
A massive thanks to the staff and carers at Railway Lodge Care Home, Dunmurry for all the professional care and love they bestowed on our mummy and for the guidance and help they give us in mums last two weeks.
Thanks to Mums good friend Father Patrick Devlin for all his support, visits and prayers at Mums bedside and for his sincere, humble and touching funeral mass.
Mum would have loved it❤️.
Thank you to Catherine McCallum for the beautiful songs and hymns.
A sincere thank you to the staff at the Beechlawns Hotel for the food and refreshments after the service.
A special thank you to Healy Brothers Funeral Directors who gave us so much sincere compassion and kindness before, during and after our mourning and for the professional manner in which they handled Mum’s funeral.
It is impossible to thank every person individually but we hope and trust this will be accepted by all of you as an expression of how truly thankful we are.
Our Mother – BRIDIE ROONEY’S Months Mind Mass will take place on Friday 17th January 2025 at 7.00pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Hannahstown.

Beloved wife of the late Ben, much loved Mother of Gerard, Deirdre, Mary, Sharon and Martine. Endeared and cherished Mother- in-Law, adored Grandmother and Great Grandmother. R.I.P. St Anthony Pray for Her.
Bridie will leave her home 16 Blacks Court, Blacks Road BT11 9QZ on Friday at 12.20 to arrive at St Oliver Plunkett Church for 1.00pm Requiem Mass followed by burial in the City Cemetery. Deeply regretted by her entire family circle.
