SANDS Leo (Crobane, Newry) died 19th October 2023 peacefully at Daisy Hill Hospital.

Leo R.I.P., loving husband of Rosamund, much loved father of Joanna, Leo, Rachael, Bronagh and Gerard. Loving grandfather to Fergal, Conor, Cillian, Clara and Rory. Son of the late George and Ita Sands, brother of Pauline, Ronnie, Des, Brendan, Theresa, Deirdre and the late George, PJ, Phyllis, Ramona and Eamon. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

His remains will repose at his home, 20 Crobane Road, from 2.00pm until 9.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. House private Monday morning, funeral Mass at 11.30am in St. Joseph’s Church, Sheeptown. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, their partner’s Etain, Damien, Peter and Julie, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins, nephews, nieces, family circle, neighbours and friends.
