We the son’s Michael, Seamus, Desmond, daughters Marie and Kathleen, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and the extended family circle of the late Josephine Sands wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement.

Many thanks to all our kind neighbours and friends who called at the house, brought refreshments, sent mass-offerings, sympathy cards and to those who telephoned or sent messages of sympathy. Special thanks to those who helped in anyway throughout the wake. Thanks also to all the Doctors and Nurses of Craigavon Area Hospital and to Dr Magennis and Dr Mulligan your kindness was much appreciated.

Special thanks to friends and neighbours who gathered at the house on the morning of the funeral and lined the route to the chapel, also special thanks to Fr Charlie Byrne for the beautiful Requiem Mass, and to Canon Francis Brown, Canon John Kearney and Canon Frank Kearney for their support and compassion shown to the family during the wake. Thanks also to Gavin Gribben for the beautiful music and singing that enchanted the Requiem Mass.
Thanks to Saval GAC for their guard of honour and for the use of their premises after the funeral and to the staff of the Diamonds Restaurant for the beautiful food.

A special word of thanks to Ciaran and Patricia from Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors for the dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a taken of our appreciation.

Josephine’s month’s mind mass will be celebrated on Sunday 5th December at 10.30am in St Colman’s Church, Shinn.
