It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janet Eleanor Schreier (née McFarland), who died peacefully on March 8, 2026, surrounded with her loving family by her side. Janet is lovingly survived by her husband Harry; her children Emerald and Craig Schreier; her parents Norman and Ethel McFarland; her siblings Alison Simpson (née McFarland) and Albert McFarland; her sister-in-law Manuela Lefranc (née Schreier); and many extended family members and dear friends.

A graveside service and celebration of Janet’s life will be held on Saturday, March 21 in Penticton, Canada. For more information, please contact her husband or children.
