Seamus CONWAY

Date of Death: Saturday 3rd June 2023 Town: Carrickmore
Date of Death: Saturday 3rd June 2023

We, the family of the late Seamus Conway wish to thank all those who sympathised with us following our recent sad bereavement.

A special word of thanks to our extended family, Seamus’ kind neighbours, our kind neighbours and friends for their help and support on the morning of his passing, the days prior to the wake and their continued support and generosity during and after the wake.

A word of thanks also, to those who attended the removal of Seamus’ remains.

We are indebted to all those who called at the house, brought food, sent Mass cards, Sympathy cards, brought flowers and expressed their condolences via telephone and social media. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to those who served tea, provided meals during the wake, and assisted with car parking.

A word of thanks also to those attended the funeral, and we appreciate all those who travelled a distance to be with us for the funeral mass.

Thank you to the Emergency Services who attended Seamus at his residence.

Our thanks to Fr Hughes, who administered Seamus’ last rites. Our sincere thanks to Monsignor Curry who celebrated Seamus’ funeral mass and delivered such a thoughtful homily. Our thanks to Fr O’Neill who called at the family home and for his continuing spiritual guidance.

A special word of thanks to Kildress Wolfe Tones for their guard of honour on the morning of the funeral and for the use of the Kildress community hub after the funeral. Also, thank you to Kelley Fox and The Charm Inn for providing the beautiful meal following the funeral.

A special thanks to Jacqueline Loughran and Eamonn Donnelly for the beautiful singing and music.

Thanks to Jimmy Fox (FMC Funeral Directors) for the caring and dignified manner in which he carried out Seamus’ funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the Rafferty Family for digging the grave and the Church Sacristan for preparing the church.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of our deepest gratitude to all.

Seamus’ Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 29th June 2023 at 7.30pm in St.Joseph’s Church, Kileenan.
