We the family of the late Seamus (Seamie) Cullen, wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement.

Our heartfelt thanks to all who called at the house, sent cards and messages of condolence, sent flowers, provided food and  helped out during the wake, assisted with the parking of cars and directing the traffic on the morning of the funeral and to everyone who attended the wake and funeral.

A special word of thanks to Denis for the use of the hub and to Maria and the girls for providing the refreshments there after after the funeral.

Heartfelt thanks to all in St. Mary’s Primary School and Dean Maguirc College for all their help and support and for providing a beautiful guard of honour.

We would also like to thank MRP Cookstown and Westland Road Spar for all their support.

We sincerely thank all those who have cared for Seamie, to Carrickmore Health Centre, Damien & staff of McAleer’s Pharmacy for guiding us through the start of Seamie’s Alzheimers, then Inver 4 Holywell, Antrim Area Hospital, Moneymore GP’s and Moneymore Care Home for looking after Seamie so well and for taking our family under their wings especially in those difficult final days.

To Fr. Moore, we are eternally grateful for all your continued support. You blessed us with the gift of performing Seamie’s anointing with us as a family and for your support and guidance through this painful time – thanks. Thanks also for your beautiful Mass and thoughtful words about Seamie which has provided great comfort.

A special note of thanks to Gerry Loughran for providing the beautiful music for the Mass.

Sincere thanks to Kate McAleer and staff, who from the moment we rang, took great care of Seamie, guided and supported us all through the coming days and carried out the funeral arrangements in such a dignified, professional manner. You have a special place in our hearts.

To our grave diggers, thank you so much for preparing Seamie’s final resting place.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and thanks.

Seamie’s months mind mass will be celebrated on Tuesday 29th September 2026 at 7.30pm in Church of the Assumption, Pomeroy

May Seamie rest in eternal peace.
