Sean DONNELLY

First Anniversary Friday 2nd December 2022 .
In loving memory of a dear husband, father, grand-father and friend.
A year has passed without you,
Someone we loved so dear,
Our lives have changed forever,
Now that you’re not here.
We keep you in our broken hearts,
Each and every day,
We miss all the jokes and laughs.
And the things that you would say.
A loving nature, kind and true,
These are the precious memories,
Which we have of you.
You always had a smile to share,
Time to give and time to care.
Within our hearts,
You are always there.
Sean’s First Anniversary mass will be celebrated on Friday 2nd December at 7:30 pm in St. Mary’s Church Loughmacrory. Mass can be accessed on the link on this page.

Family Acknowledgement
We the family of the late Sean Donnelly wish to extend our sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to all those who sympathised with and supported us during our recent sad bereavement. We are grateful to everyone who visited Sean during his illness, telephoned, sent messages, mass cards, sympathy cards after he passed away, and attended Sean’s wake and funeral.
A special word of thanks to St. Teresa’s GFC Loughmacrory for their help and support throughout the wake and funeral. We extend appreciation to Sean’s Sinn Féin friends and colleagues who lined the route and accompanied Sean’s coffin on his final journey and to his resting place. Many thanks to piper Stephen McCann. We appreciate the support provided by everyone who stood out or participated in a Guard of Honour as Sean’s cortege made its way to the church and cemetery, especially members of Loughmacrory GFC, Sinn Féin, St. Brigid’s P.S. Altamuskin, those in attendance on behalf of Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and others.
We are grateful to Fr. Seán O’Neill (PP) for the help and support which he provided towards Sean over the last few months, and also as the main celebrant at the funeral mass. To Fr. John Brown and Fr. Michael O’Dwyer, we are extremely indebted for their help in officiating at Sean’s funeral and similarly to Fr. Thomas Mallon, we extend our appreciation for his support and friendship towards Sean throughout the years.
Thanks to the staff of Carrickmore Health Centre, in particular, Dr. Slane and Dr. Corry and also to Fiona and the staff at Harte’s Pharmacy, Carrickmore. Sincere appreciation also to the District Nurses, Palliative team and Marie Curie Nurses for the truly special care, attention and compassion shown towards Sean throughout the last number of months.
Many thanks to Kate McAleer and McAleer Funeral Directors Pomeroy for the professional and highly dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. A note of thanks is similarly extended to the grave-diggers. We also wish to thank Loughmacrory church choir for the beautiful music provided at Sean’s funeral mass and a particular word of thanks to soloist, Caoimhe Cunningham.
We are extremely grateful to the Charm Inn for the provision of refreshments after the funeral. A very special note of gratitude to the individuals who kindly helped in the house during Sean’s wake and especially, to the various friends, families and local businesses who provided food and refreshments during his wake. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt appreciation.
Sean’s Month’s Mind mass will be celebrated in St. Mary’s Church Loughmacrory on Sunday 2 January at 10:00 a.m. Mass may also be viewed via the church webcam link below.
