We, the family of the late Shaun Conroy (RIP) wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us following the sudden and untimely death of our much loved husband, father, brother, uncle, son-in-law, cousin, and friend. We would like to especially thank our kind family, friends and neighbours.

Our sincere thanks to everyone who called at our home to offer support, parked cars, sent cards, flowers, telephoned, messaged via social media or helped in any way over Shaun’s wake and funeral. We acknowledge all who worked tirelessly in the kitchen making tea and thanks to all who brought food and hot meals.

We would like to thank the paramedics and nursing staff at Omagh hospital who helped in many ways to support our family at the sudden time of Shaun’s passing.

A special thanks to Errigal Ciaran GAC who helped throughout the wake and funeral, providing invaluable help and assistance. Their support will never be forgotten by our family.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr Michael O’Dywer for his spiritual support and beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks to everyone who assisted at the mass, readers, gift bearers, Eucharistic ministers, Altar servers, Church sacristan and to the beautiful musicians and singers – Noleen and Ellen Neil, Catherine Burns, Bronagh and Colleen Broderick, and Ciara Mc Ginley.

To St Brigids Primary School Altamuskin, St Ciaran’s College Ballygawley and Errigal Ciaran GAC for the thoughtful guards of honour.

Our sincere thanks to Fergal Farley for the professional, dignified and compassionate handling of the funeral arrangements and support provided to our family and to the gravediggers for preparing Shaun’s place of rest.

Thanks also to Altamuskin Community Centre for the use of the hall for refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deep gratitude.

CONROY Shaun – Altamuskin, Sixmilecross, 14th February 2023. Suddenly.

Shaun, RIP, beloved husband of Caroline and loving father of Darragh, Caoimhe, Neil and Brian.

Caring son of Owen and the late Margaret RIP and devoted brother of Susan (Paul ), Joe and Paul (Catherine).

Funeral leaving his late residence on Friday 17th February at 11.30am for 12 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dunmoyle. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughter, father, sister, brothers, brothers in law, Sisters in law, mother and father in law and his many cousins, good friends and neighbours.
