We, the family of the late Peter Sherry wish to extend our profound gratitude to all those who offered sympathy and support to us during our recent sad bereavement.

To all who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass or sympathy cards, brought gifts of food, telephoned or posted their condolences online, we are very grateful. A special word of thanks to Dungannon Thomas Clarkes for the use of chairs, cups etc.

We thank all our relatives and friends for their help during the wake.

To Dr. O’Donnell and the medical team of Coalisland Medical Centre, District Nurses and all Dad’s carers, in Askbrook care home, we thank you for all the care and attention he received throughout his time there.

A special word of thanks to Fr Eamonn Mc Camley for his support and celebrating Dad’s Requiem Mass. To all who participated in the Liturgy, prayers of the faithful, offertory procession, we thank you.

We especially thank Emma Connolly for the beautiful singing, to all the musicians who joined in with the service especially those who travelled from Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Thanks to the staff of the Ryandale for the beautiful meal after the funeral.

Finally PJ Quinn & Son for the help and support for undertaking the funeral and gravedigging arrangements with such dignity and professionalism, also the cemetery staff for preparing Dad’s final resting place.

We trust this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation to all who assisted us in any way during this difficult time may our Daddy rest in peace.

SHERRY Peter, (Dungannon) March 15th 2025. Passed away peacefully at Ashbrook Nursing Home. Husband of the late Margaret, Father of Joanne, Niall (Nora) & Feargal (Eugene) and beloved Grandfather & Great Grandfather.

Peter’s remains will be reposing at his home, 10 Drumglass Way, BT71 4AG from Sunday at 5pm until removal on Tuesday to St. Patrick’s Church, Dungannon for 10am Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards in Carland Road Cemetery. St. Patrick, pray for him.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Ashbrook Nursing Home.

Deeply regretted by his entire family circle.
